Job Title: Tutor with SEN experience
Location: South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide tailored academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create and implement individualised learning plans for each student
* Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals to support students' learning and development
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Understanding of SEN policies and procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* Demonstrated experience in SEN teaching or support roles
* Knowledge of different learning difficulties and strategies to overcome them
* Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
* Training in specific interventions for SEN students
* Experience working in a SEN department within a school
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
* Work in a classroom or one-on-one setting with students
* Potential travel to different locations within Berkshire
* Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
