Knowledge, Skills, and Training
Essential criteria
* Clinical qualification in occupational therapy.
* HCPC registration.
* Evidence of further education or continuous professional development.
Desirable criteria
* Leadership/management training.
* Degree in clinical leadership or MSc.
* Additional clinical qualification, e.g., AMPs, CBT.
Job Specific Experience
Essential criteria
* Specialist knowledge and application of current best practice of OT in Mental Health.
* Previous experience of first-line management leadership.
* Significant experience working at a senior grade in mental health, including inpatient and/or community settings.
* Experience leading and coordinating a clinical team’s work.
* Supervision of staff and students.
* Leading and motivating teams in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
* Multi-agency working experience.
Desirable criteria
* Experience managing/supervising other AHPs.

* Previous experience managing a budget.
