Key Account Manager - I&C Energy (Major Clients) - £85,000 (15%-20% Bonus)
A new opportunity to manage a focused portfolio of high-value industrial and commercial energy clients, including large manufacturers and data centres. This role is fully dedicated to key account management, and is ideal for someone with strong stakeholder coordination skills and deep sector experience.
Role Overview:
* Manage a defined portfolio of strategic accounts with direct supply agreements.
* Act as the central point of contact across internal teams (trading, operations, technical, etc.).
* Lead contract renewals, pricing discussions, and long-term planning with each account.
* Own the full client relationship, from commercial performance to stakeholder engagement.
* Represent the business in on-site and virtual meetings, ensuring client needs are met proactively.
* Collaborate across teams to deliver value-add services
* Take a “conductor” role, ensuring all departments are aligned around key client priorities.
What We're Looking For:
* 10+ years of experience in key account or client management within the energy sector (supplier or TPI).
* Experience handling large direct clients in energy-intensive sectors.
* Proven ability to manage complex client structures and multi-touchpoint relationships.
* Self-starter who thrives with autonomy
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of UK electricity supply contracts.
* Efficient, structured, and client-focused with a track record of retention and growth.
