The Role
As Chief Executive Officer, you will provide inspiring leadership and operational management, ensuring services continue to deliver life-changing impact. You will also drive financial sustainability, develop partnerships, and represent Acorns locally, regionally, and nationally.
Key responsibilities include:
Working with the Board of Trustees to set and deliver strategic priorities.
Leading staff and embedding a culture of wellbeing, inclusivity, and accountability.
Overseeing service delivery and ensuring compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards.
Securing and diversifying income to sustain long-term growth.
Acting as ambassador for Acorns and advocating for survivors of domestic abuse.
About You
Acorns are seeking an inspiring, values-driven leader with:
A track record in a senior leadership role within the charity, public, or related sector.
Strong people, financial, and organisational management skills.
Experience of partnership working, stakeholder engagement, and income generation.
Commitment to trauma-informed practice, safeguarding, and equality, diversity, and inclusion.
