About The Role
Due to our continued growth we are seeking an experienced bid manager to join our team. The Bid Manager will manage the bid cycle from opportunity identification through bid production to submission.
The successful candidate will have excellent writing and evaluation skills, being able to produce compelling copy for bids and support other team members to produce high quality bid documents.
The role will involve:
* Monitoring and evaluating new opportunities
* Working closely with the sales team throughout the bid cycle
* supporting the bid/no bid process
* Producing high quality bid documents including editing raw copy
* Reporting bid statistics
* Completing due diligence questionnaires
* Supporting and developing bid team members
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience in a similar role, preferably within FM
* Highly organised and able to meet deadlines
* Ability to work effectively under pressure
* Flexibility towards working hours where required during bids
* Highly developed writing skills, including grammar
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Effective questioning skills
* Experience of procurement portals
* Attention to detail
* High level of IT literacy, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet research
