As a Distribution Centre Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall management, performance, and safety of the depot. This includes overseeing daily operations, managing teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting KPIs, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize processes to achieve operational excellence.

Your role as Distribution Centre Manager:
* Responsible for adopting a cultural transformation towards operational excellence using continuous improvement/lean methodologies, focusing on eliminating waste while ensuring safety, service, cost efficiency, and environmental standards.
* Implement change to foster a safety-first and improvement-focused distribution culture at all levels.
* Ensure targets for on-time and in-full deliveries are exceeded.
* Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement across the site.
* Manage the site P&L and budget, mitigating risks and capitalizing on opportunities.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain confidence in service delivery.
* Ensure statutory compliance and governance, including adherence to O licence requirements.
What you'll bring:
* Experience in operational excellence and lean methodologies.
* Project management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong management experience within logistics, supply chain, or operations.
* Proven leadership abilities to motivate and develop diverse teams, with a focus on results and engagement.
* Solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
