AtkinsRéalis is looking to recruit an innovative and experienced Architectural Technologist to join our growing Birmingham team, part of the wider Midlands, South-West and Wales business region.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
* The ideal candidate will have either a RIBA Part 3 qualification or CIAT accreditation, with relevant years’ experience on a wide range of complex projects at different stages and a good understanding of the UK Building Regulations.
* Experience across different sectors working directly with clients and contractors whilst leading and coordinating design teams.
* Understanding of the design process and RIBA Plan of Work, with ability to deliver a project from concept, through detail design, to delivery on site.
* Capability to lead a multi‑disciplinary team, ensuring design coordination, interface resolution, clash detection and resolution. Able to produce, analyse and advise upon materials selection, specification and detailed design solutions in relation to performance and production criteria, and proficient in NBS software.
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; experience in advanced collaboration software such as Navisworks, federation of BIM models, model checking, clash and interface management and on‑site job running desirable.
* Consistency and accuracy in all work produced; ability to work under tight deadlines and in high pressure situations.
* Strong interpersonal skills, organisation, efficient time management, attention to detail, ability to work independently and effectively under pressure, self‑motivated and flexible, positive and ‘can‑do’ attitude and willingness to be a strong team player.
Security Clearance
This role may require security clearance. Offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. The vetting process is conducted by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK for five years or longer. If this is necessary, it will be discussed at interview.
