Senior Commercial Account Handler – Hybrid (Buckinghamshire)
I’m supporting a growing commercial insurance team who are looking for an experienced Senior Account Handler to join them in a hybrid role based near Amersham.
You’ll work closely with a small team of Account Executives, managing a varied commercial portfolio and delivering high-quality client service from renewal through to day-to-day support.
The environment is collaborative, supportive, and ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership while mentoring others.
What you’ll be doing:
• Managing your own portfolio of commercial clients
• Handling renewals, MTAs and policy admin with accuracy and attention to detail
• Negotiating terms with insurers and advising clients on coverage
• Acting as a key point of contact and building long-term client relationships
• Ensuring documentation and processes meet FCA and internal compliance standards
• Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to wider team success
What we’re looking for:
• Strong experience as a commercial Account Handler at senior level
• Solid technical knowledge across SME and commercial lines
• Confident using insurance systems (Acturis experience preferred)
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Someone proactive, client-focused and confident working in a fast-paced setting
• CII/ACII preferred but not essential
