We are seeking a People Partner to join our team at Bourne Education Trust.

To support the continued growth of the Trust, we are seeking a People Partner to work alongside the Head of People Operations and provide effective, professional HR support.

The core purpose of all posts at the Trust, including that of the HR Business Partner, is to advance education for public benefit. As such, all post‑holders will support the organisation to ensure that young people are able to thrive and build positive futures.


Responsibilities

* Deliver strategic and operational priorities effectively.
* Develop and implement effective recruitment, retention and development strategies to maintain a high‑quality and continually improving teaching and learning environment.
* Enable resolutions to people management challenges.
* Introduce Trust‑wide initiatives and service developments which will promote engagement and wellbeing across the workforce.
* Offer training and support in HR matters to enable effective administration and to meet statutory obligations.
* To liaise closely with Trust leaders and provide early warning of up‑coming issues and to provide appropriate advice as well as updates on HR and employment law; to set up and hold meetings with leaders to discuss current issues and plan appropriate HR support.
* Ensure a successful integration with the Trust HR services, including payroll, OH, DBS, Wellbeing, and recruitment.
* Support with complex case management ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and Trust policies and procedures.


Qualifications and Experience

* Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of pupils.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification or willingness to study for this.
* Substantial generalist HR experience, operating in a medium to large organisation.
* Experience of working in a multi‑site organisation.
