Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Market Drayton
Salary: Up to £56 (Apply online only)
Shift: 4 on, 4 off (Days & Nights)
YOU WILL BE PUT ON A MECH TO ELEC CONVERSION COURSE
Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of automated and semi‑automated production machinery
* Fault‑finding and planned preventive maintenance to maximise uptime and efficiency in a fast‑paced FMCG environment
* Work 4 on, 4 off days and nights shift pattern to reduce downtime and improve reliability
Qualifications
* Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment (motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics)
* Hands‑on fault‑finding experience
* Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
* Experience working within a manufacturing environment
* Basic PLC fault‑finding experience advantageous
* Ability to work 4 on, 4 off days and nights shift pattern
