On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Logistics & Enablement Lead on an initial 5‑month contract. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Manufacturing, Build Process, and Production System Development teams to ensure all operational customer requirements are fully integrated into the logistics and enablement industrial process. You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of operational requirements and support the company's commitment to advancing technology and continuous process improvement across all areas of operation.
Role: Logistics & Enablement Lead
Pay: Up to £25 per hour via Umbrella
Location: Broughton
Contract: Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week, 5 months
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities
* Develop an effective relationship with internal customers to ensure full transparency on all aspects of production within designated areas of work.
* Ensure designated area of work is prepared to enable implementation of build demand.
* Support the recruitment, training and development of staff to fulfil day‑to‑day tasks and plan future headcount in line with enablement strategy.
* Drive improvements to the safe working environment through departmental objectives and management.
* Maintain LOLER equipment, keeping it operational and ready for use.
* Support development of Use Cases for production system deployment.
* Set up Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal and external service providers.
* Raise orders on Click & Buy and ensure immediate goods receipt on delivery.
* Act as lead operational customer interface for any industrial system.
* Ensure the efficient running of the Enablement system for People, Machines, Materials, Methods and Measurement.
Essential Skills
* Managing all standard enablement activities including calibration of tools, booking tools in and out, maintenance stock checking, and liaising with suppliers.
* Experience within facilities maintenance is beneficial.
* Demonstrated logistics & enablement support to an operations working environment.
* Experience working with service providers.
* Excellent personal and communication skills.
* High self‑motivation and meticulous attention to detail.
* Works well in a developmental change environment.
* Embraces change as a way of adding value, particularly within a digital factory environment.
