We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our clients finance team headquartered in Inverness. This is a fantastic opportunity perhaps for a school leaver looking to start a career in finance or someone early into their finance career looking to gain hands-on experience and work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Matching, coding, and processing invoices and credit notes against valid purchase orders Completing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies Processing company credit card reports, ensuring compliance with company policy, and escalating queries where necessary Dealing with supplier queries professionally and efficiently Liaising with department managers to obtain invoice approvals where required Ensuring full compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and internal controls Desirable Skills & Attributes: Experience in a similar role or a high-volume financial environment is preferable but not essential Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and influence effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) High level of integrity, self-motivated, and willing to learn If you are interested and wish to discuss in more detail please contact Lyndsey at Global Highland
