Key Responsibilities / Required Experience
The consultancy is seeking an experienced senior professional with strong consultancy or client-side experience, including:
Extensive pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience
Leading cost planning and cost management across all RIBA stages
Developing procurement strategies and managing tender processes
Contract administration and high-level commercial reporting
Managing change control, valuations, and final accounts
Leading large-scale, complex projects, ideally in commercial, residential, public sector, or mixed-use developments
Proven ability to lead project teams and mentor junior surveyors
Strong client-facing experience, acting as a key point of contact
Leadership, Development & Exposure
Direct exposure to Directors, with many projects being Director-led
Opportunity to work collaboratively with senior leadership on business growth and client development
Involvement in mentoring and developing junior team members
Continued RICS chartership support for those working towards MRICS, alongside ongoing professional development
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience operating at Principal or Associate-level, or a Senior QS ready to step up
Ideally MRICS chartered, or close to achieving chartership
Strong commercial acumen and leadership capability
Confident, professional communicator with clients and stakeholders
Values quality, collaboration, and working within a smaller consultancy environment
