Our Client is an innovative, profitable and well-established supplier of bespoke primary packaging to international food, beverage, and cosmetic brands. Due to continued growth and strategic investment, they are now seeking a proactive and driven Lead Generator to support their UK sales team by opening doors within targeted markets and creating high-quality opportunities.
This is an office-based role in Surrey, working Monday to Friday standard office hours. It is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment and enjoys engaging with new prospects to build a strong sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and identify targeted companies and key decision-makers within agreed sectors
2. Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
3. Secure appointments, qualified leads, and call-backs for the external sales team
4. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers
5. Develop an understanding of the company's product offering to effectively position solutions
6. Engage professionally with potential clients to introduce the business and its capabilities
7. Maintain accurate records of all interactions within the CRM system
8. Work closely with the sales team to align lead generation activity with business objectives
9. Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound enquiries
10. Gather market intelligence and competitor insights
Requirements:
11. Previous experience in lead generation, telesales, internal sales, or appointment settings
12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a confident telephone manner
13. Target-driven with a proactive and resilient approach
14. Ability to engage and build rapport quickly with decision-makers
15. Organised with good attention to detail and CRM experience
16. Any experience within packaging, manufacturing, or B2B sales would be advantageous but not essential
