Breakfast Club Play Worker - Permanent Contract - Term time, 185 days per year (37 weeks)
6 hours per week, Monday, Thursday and Friday 7:45 am to 8:45 am and Tuesday and Wednesday 7:15 am - 8:45 am OR
2 hours per week Tuesday and Thursday 7:45 am to 8:45 am.
We are looking to recruit permanent Play Workers for our friendly Breakfast Club based at The Hermitage Schools. If you are unable to cover all of the above mornings but could work some mornings please state your preferred hours/days on the application form.
As a Play Worker, your key responsibilities would include: -
1. Supervising children attending the afterschool club. Ensuring their safety and well-being.
2. Providing appropriate activities and games for the children to enjoy.
3. Encourage good behaviour.
4. Supporting the Breakfast Club Leader with the overall running of the club in line with the club polices and procedure.

Previous experience of working with children or an NVQ in Childcare would be desirable. Applicants must be 17 or over.
Actual Salary:
£3308.90 per year, based on 6 hours a week or
£1,102.97 per year based on 2 hours a week. (The Full Time Equivalent salary is £24,330)
