Current Vacancy: Head of Home Environment Services
The purpose of this role is to be strategically responsible for the Housing Environment Assessment and Response Team (HEART) and the Home Improvement Team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the HEART service effectively under the guidance of the Governance Board, including intervening, taking action, and providing instructions.
2. Ensure comprehensive support from host and partner support services, collaborating with heads of service and Directors as needed.
3. Take overall responsibility for the management and service delivery of the HEART Service, as outlined in the Housing Service Specification Matrix.
4. Represent the Service and Governance Board at meetings, establishing and maintaining links with external organisations and promoting a positive image of the Councils and Service.
5. Work with the Service Governance Board to develop strategic direction and ensure service excellence for internal and external customers.
Qualifications and Membership
Applicants must hold full membership of a relevant professional institute related to at least one of the Service's areas and possess a professional qualification in a relevant technical field at Bachelor's Degree / NVQ level 6 or equivalent.
