Mediplacements are looking to recruit a Band 6 Mammographer for a locum assignment in Worcestershire.
The pay for this position is £25 - £32 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.
Job Description:
Diploma/Degree in Radiography.
HCPC Registration.
Post Graduate Award in Mammography Practice.
Experience at Band 6 level.
High standard of mammography skills.
The candidate must have the UK post graduate award in mammography and have undertaken breast screening for the National Breast Screening Programme ( NHSBSP), this is essential criteria.
As a mammographer, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing mammograms and interpreting the results. They will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide pa-tients with the best care possible. The mammographer must have a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate must be HCPC registered.
