Senior Manager – Qualifications

Contract: Maternity Cover - Start 3rd November

Salary: £50,000 + Excellent Benefits

Hybrid: London / Home Working


We are delighted to be supporting a leading professional membership body who are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Qualifications to join their team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile qualifications and assessments portfolio, ensuring their delivery, maintenance and ongoing compliance to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a team of Qualifications Managers, overseeing delivery schedules, workloads and priorities.
* Ensure the smooth delivery, review and re-publication of exams and assessments to time, budget and regulatory requirements.
* Manage the lifecycle of narrative exams, including scheduling, development, marking and compliance.
* Oversee the recruitment, training and support of examiners, markers and assessors.
* Work closely with Learning Resources and Operations teams to ensure syllabi, papers and scripts are prepared and transferred to schedule.
* Lead on compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory frameworks, recommending improvements where necessary.
* Investigate and respond to feedback, complaints and appeals relating to assessments.


About You:

We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on manager with:

* A degree or equivalent, or at least 5 years’ experience managing a qualifications portfolio in an awarding or professional body environment.
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
* Proven experience of managing external stakeholders and subject matter experts.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
* A track record of leading projects and delivering results to deadlines.
* Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and a strong commitment to compliance and integrity.
* Adaptability, resilience and a continuous improvement mindset.


The Benefits:

* Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience.
* 7.5% company pension contribution (in addition to your own).
* 28 days leave including Christmas closure.
* Travel allowance up to £2,500 per annum.
* Flexible hybrid working – London office / home split.
* Contractual working hours: 35 per week.
