Experience
* 7+ years post‑qualification experience in planning (consultancy or public sector), focused on major infrastructure projects.
* Strong track record delivering large‑scale planning schemes on time and to budget.
* Business development experience and commercial awareness.
* Leadership of project teams.
* Full lifecycle experience of major planning processes, including examination.
* Post‑consent experience and renewable energy project delivery.
* Strong industry reputation and network.
Qualifications
* Degree in Planning or related subject.
* Chartered Membership of RTPI.
Knowledge & Skills
* Strong understanding of national planning policy and regulatory frameworks.
* Familiarity with relevant policy statements, guidance notes, and regulations.
* Knowledge of the energy sector and renewable technologies.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn other software.
* Financial and budget management skills.
* Strong communication, multitasking, and team management abilities.
* Willingness to support business development.
