We are currently seeking to recruit a Technical Apprentice, internal applicants welcome. The technical apprentice will provide technical systems and administrative support for Pilgrim's Europe Group Technical Governance team while completing a Higher-Level apprenticeship in Food & Drink Manufacture (Foundation Degree/Level 5) with the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE). The Technical Governance role will provide the apprentice the opportunity to develop a strong technical background in food safety & quality standards and operational compliance. The Technical apprenticeship serves as a stepping stone for a career within Technical. Successful completion opens pathways to advanced qualifications and specialised roles within Pilgrims Europe. Responsibilities: Update Pilgrim's Europe FSQMS and related documents as required Maintain technical document review schedules Maintain technical document approval process for Group FSQMS documents Develop and maintain Pilgrim's Europe Technical SharePoint sites, Apps and software systems as required Engage with Group and site teams regarding FSQMS and other technical standards documents for their input, amendment and implementation. Organise and minute meetings as required Administer online Training Academy courses and managing access Collate training materials for training courses Maintain training records Training Administration duties Assist in the preparation of technical KPI and metric reports Provide support in other areas of technical as required, which may include office and onsite factory work at other Pilgrim's Europe sites. Essential Criteria: Minimum of two A-levels or equivalent qualifications (which could include a Level 3 Extended Diploma or Level 3 Apprenticeship) plus a minimum three GCSE or equivalent qualifications at Grade C or above including English Language, Mathematics and a science subject. Good English literacy, numeracy and verbal competency Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take direction Ability to challenge others in a professional and constructive manner Self-motivated with a positive outlook Desirable Criteria: Practical understanding and experience in the food manufacture or agriculture sectors IT experience Co-ordination experience ADZN1_UKTJ
