What does the job involve?
Supporting the manufacture of thermal insulation components including ducts, pipes, blankets and stretch formed material to ensure they conform to customer requirements.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week.
Dayshift - Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 16:15pm and Friday 08:00am to 15:00pm with 30-minute break for lunch
Fabrications Production Operative - What will my responsibilities include?
1. Accurate interpretation and completion of production route cards.
2. Use hot forming techniques to press components made of Titanium and Nickel Alloys (e.g. Inconel & Nimonic) to tight tolerances.
3. Manufacture aerospace components using various manufacturing processes including acid pickling, hot draw forming and hot die quenching in accordance with customer specifications and Quality procedures.
4. Achieve company work & quality standards in addition to delivery targets.
5. Perform all reasonable requests made by management.
Fabrications Production Operative - What key skills and experience do I need?
6. Must have the right to live and work in the UK (Essential)
7. Must be able to read and interpret technical documentation, visual aids and data sheets.
8. Must be able to work under own initiative with limited supervision accurately and timely.
9. Experience with acid pickling, hot draw forming and hot die quenching would be advantageous however full training will be given if not.
