Main Duties
Please join our newly qualified nurse careers event on 11 March 2026, 14:00‑17:30, in Benjamin Gooch Theatre, NNUH. As a Newly Qualified Nurse you will be fully integrated into the team and encouraged to continually develop your skills. Our group values education and development and provides training, supervision, and annual appraisals with career conversations.
Preceptorship and Beyond
We provide a 12‑month preceptorship scheme. You will be assigned a trained preceptor/mentor who will support you throughout this period. The programme includes a two‑week induction in February/March 2026, workshops, a transitional learning needs analysis, four bespoke CPD sessions, access to the clinical skills programme and a bespoke IV drug administration day.

Person Specification
* Completion of pre‑registration training to diploma or degree level.
* Recent experience of nursing in an acute hospital environment.
* Knowledge or experience of the relevant speciality (desirable).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to maintain high standards of care.
* Time management skills.
* Effective role model, demonstrating NNUH’s PRIDE values.
