Science Teacher

Day-to-day of the role:
* Teach Science to students at KS3 and KS4 levels, with opportunities to teach at KS5 for suitable candidates.
* Engage and motivate students through high-quality instruction and innovative lesson plans.
* Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students.
* Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.
* Update all necessary records accurately as required and attend department meetings.
* Participate in and organise extracurricular activities such as clubs, social events, and outings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience in teaching Science at secondary school level; ability to teach at A-level is desirable.
* Strong understanding of the UK secondary education system and curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Good organisational and time-management skills.
* Commitment to professional development and a proactive approach to learning new teaching methods.
