Protocol is working closely with a Further Education College based in Nottinghamshire to help recruit for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Human Resources Business Partner. We are looking for experienced candidates who will offer a full HR generalist support service for leaders to develop their teams and help create and drive a high-performance culture.
The role:
1. Full-time or Part-time /permanent, up to £30,000 (up to £25,260 after pro rata for Part-time) depending on candidate experience.
2. Cover a business area working directly with Directors and Leaders to ensure all elements of the people strategy are well developed, designed, delivered and consistently measured and evaluated
3. Design and develop a people plan / strategy for your business area / directorate working with the HRBP team as whole to deliver the People Strategy and overarching College Strategy
4. Support and partner Directors and leaders to develop their teams and help create and drive a high-performance culture
5. Help ensure we maximise organisational effectiveness and organisational design through proactive, creative people strategies aligned to great practices and structures
6. Support and develop talent across the organisation, developing great leaders and colleagues
7. Develop, design the overarching strategy of attracting, recruiting and retaining the right people through capability mapping and structured resource planning
8. Excite and inspire others, bringing the People Strategy to life, taking a position on issues, inspiring colleagues to develop and thrive in the College
9. Contribute to the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the College
10. Ensure the responsibilities of the post are carried out in a way that reflects the standards, vision and values of the college
11. Deliver on key performance indicators across the College, aiming to deliver continuous improvement
12. Provide regular and consistent Business Partner support to all nominated managers. Covering all elements of the People Strategy, including case management, people metrics, turnover, absence analysis, recruitment and retention and take positive action to address areas of concern
13. Review trends and patterns of KPIs to ensure we address the root cause of issues and concerns
14. Act as the first point of contact for nominated Directors, Heads of Faculty and Service on all aspects of HR
15. Assist managers and leaders to work with all colleagues to build and develop high performing teams, using 121s, PDRs and performance reviews to ensure every colleague can thrive and develop in the College
16. Champion and drive forward the development of talent at all levels of the organisation to ensure we build a strong reputation for developing talent

We are therefore seeking passionate individuals with a background in Human Resources ideally within an educational setting.
