Role Description
This is a part time permanent role for a Paediatric Orthotist located in West Wales area, United Kingdom supporting paediatric clinics. The Orthotist will be responsible for supplying devices that support the body, encourage active lifestyles, and reduce pain or pathological developments. The role involves working in MDT alongside physiotherapists to assess and treat children with a range of different pathologies using a combination of made-to-measure and off-the-shelf devices to ensure optimum outcomes.
Qualifications
·Strong knowledge of Orthotics
·Paediatric experience
·Expertise in Gait Analysis
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clinicians and patients of all ages
·A passion for helping individuals improve their quality of life and mobility
·Bachelor's or Master's degree in Orthotics
·Applicants must be HCPC registered and preferably members of BAPO
·Good time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
