This established accountancy practice in Chester is growing and looking to bring in a Tax Senior to strengthen their team. It’s a firm that genuinely invests in its people, not just with training, but with flexibility, progression and a proper work/life balance.The role: You’ll be working across a varied portfolio of clients, handling both compliance and advisory work. Plenty of client interaction, and the opportunity to get involved in more complex planning work as you progress.Key responsibilities:
* Managing a portfolio of personal and/or corporate tax clients
* Preparing and reviewing tax returns
* Supporting on tax planning and advisory projects
* Building strong client relationships
* Assisting with mentoring junior staff
What they’re looking for:
* ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or part-qualified / qualified by experience)
* Experience working in accountancy practice
* Strong knowledge of UK tax compliance
* Confident dealing with clients
