Working 16 hours per week, shifts will involve working weekday and weekend mornings 5/6 days out of 7, on a rota basis.
The successful Candidates must be Flexible and available to work at busy peak periods and holiday times.
As a House Keeper, within the Hotel, you will be responsible for providing a high-level standard of cleanliness for both bedrooms and public areas to ensure the efficiency of service and total guest satisfaction.
The role will involve;
* To achieve and maintain the standards and services in housekeeping as set out by the Manager.
* To ensure that the accommodation meets the customer's requirements and maintain the cleanliness of rooms and the comfort of guests in bedrooms and bathrooms.
* Ensure the standard of cleanliness and maintenance required by the company is adhered to at all times.
* Routine cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms which will involve, making beds, changing linen, communicating hotel services to guests, checks of equipment in rooms.
* To ensure all rooms are supplied with adequate toiletries to meet the hotel standards.
* To separate any damaged and badly marked linen from that to be used and to be returned to supplier.
* Report to reception any lost property found, noting date, time and place.
* To keep store areas tidy, stocked and maintained at all times.
* To be fully competent in the usage of the relevant laundry systems.
* Report any Maintenance issues to management/ reception.
* To treat all equipment with care, and report any faults to the Manager.
* Laundry / Toiletries and Towel Stock Control and inform the Housekeeping Supervisor when levels fall to a minimum.
Previous experience may be considered advantageous.
