Public Health Project Officer - (Stop Smoking service and Health Care Public Health)

We are looking for a dynamic person who will support the development and delivery of effective strategic approaches to expand tobacco control initiatives and deliver community engagement to encourage more people to stop smoking.
The post-holder will work with the Public Health Principal to plan, develop, and deliver stop‑smoking and tobacco control programmes, services, and projects in partnership with the local stop‑smoking service and a range of partners both within the Council and across the community, using strong skills in project management, community engagement, and collaborative working.

The location for the role is Perceval House in central Ealing. Currently, the majority of staff are hybrid working, with office working strongly encouraged for at least 2 days a week (this may change depending on the needs of the department).
This role is permanent and full‑time. It does require occasional weekend and after‑hours working, so the post holder will need to be flexible around their working hours and an ability to travel across the council with education resources, displays etc. Flexible working is considered for all roles in the Public Health team.
