Commercial Litigation Solicitor Location: Cardiff Office Salary: Competitive, based on experience Job Type: Full-time Our client, a full-service law firm based in Cardiff, is seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join their dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to handle litigation matters primarily for a legal expense insurer, contributing to the firm’s specialist insurance-related legal services. Day-to-day of the role: Manage a caseload of litigation matters, primarily funded by a legal expense insurer. Provide clear, practical legal advice and representation to clients. Draft legal documents, correspondence, and court submissions. Liaise with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders professionally and efficiently. Maintain accurate case records and comply with regulatory requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales. Preferably 2 years PQE (newly qualified solicitors will also be considered). Strong understanding of litigation procedures and case management. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable: Experience working with legal expense insurers. Familiarity with landlord and tenant disputes, contract litigation, or insurance claims.
