Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Administrator Specialist to manage, optimize, and support our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Azure administration, governance, monitoring, and security, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance of cloud resources. This role involves working closely with architects, developers, and security teams to deliver and maintain robust cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, including VMs, storage, networking, and identity services.
* Administer and monitor Azure Active Directory (AAD), RBAC, Conditional Access, and MFA.
* Implement and manage Azure security controls, compliance policies, and cost optimization strategies.
* Support and manage Azure networking (VNETs, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Firewalls, Load Balancers, NSGs, Application Gateways).
* Configure and maintain Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
* Monitor system health and performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
* Implement and support Azure Automation, ARM templates, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep/Terraform.
* Troubleshoot incidents and provide L2/L3 support for Azure services.
* Manage patching, updates, and compliance of Azure workloads.
* Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to policies and standards.
* Document processes, procedures, and best practices for Azure environment management.
Key Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of experience in cloud administration, with at least 3+ years in Microsoft Azure.
* Strong hands-on experience with: Azure Storage, VMs, and Identity services
* Azure Backup & Disaster Recovery solutions
* Knowledge of PowerShell, CLI, and scripting for automation.
* Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
* Understanding of security, governance, and compliance in Azure.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in incident/problem management.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Security Engineer Associate (desirable).
* Experience in hybrid cloud environments (Azure + on-prem).

Our Talent Acquisition Team will be in touch to advise you on the next steps. We have a two-stage interview process for most of our consultants. In certain cases, we may include a third and final stage, which is a conversation with the company Partners. This will only be considered if deemed necessary.
