Consultant Psychologist – West Yorkshire, England
We are seeking a committed Consultant Psychologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Leeds. The role is part‑time (22.5 hours per week) with an annual salary of £46,800.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive and respond promptly to referrals, undertaking assessments to determine and plan effective therapy programmes for assigned clients.
* Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring activities and interventions meet client needs and align with therapy plans.
* Manage an assigned caseload within agreed timescales, maintaining regular interaction and communication with clients, professional colleagues and clinical staff.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records (case notes, case files, clinical reports, electronic systems) and share relevant information at MDT meetings.
* Lead and coordinate professional and clinical colleagues, providing psychotherapeutic advice and guidance, and assist with analysis of statistical data for research and audit.
Qualifications
Qualified Psychologist with HCPC Registration is mandatory. Preferred experience includes:
* Working with complex clients at a strategic level.
* Delivering specialist interventions for complex service users.
* Training in clinical supervision.
* Proficiency in CBT and at least two other therapeutic modalities.
* Leadership and management experience.
