Who You Are You are a dedicated Social Worker with a stable employment history and experience in child protection or long-term teams. You possess a degree in Social Work and are registered with Social Work England. You have strong communication skills, are knowledgeable about relevant legislation, and are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. What the Job Involves Your role is to undertake assessments and provide social work services to users and carers in compliance with statutory duties under legislation and Council policy. You will work with the duty team to complete referrals and undertake child and family assessments, ensuring timely case progression and safeguarding vulnerable children. You will also prepare for and represent the Local Authority in Court proceedings. Skills Degree in Social Work, SWE registered Knowledge of Children Act 1989, 2004, and related legislation Strong communication and partnership skills Experience with culturally diverse communities Proficient in risk assessment and care planning Ability to perform under tight deadlines Proficiency in IT and management information systems
