Site Operations Manager (KSE- KSF £27852-£33752 depending on experience)
37 hours per week
We are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic and highly committed Site Operations Manager who will ensure that our children learn in a safe, clean and healthy environment. You will be an important member of our school team and have a positive approach to this key role.
What you will need to succeed-
1. Previous experience as a caretaker or similar.
2. Practical skills in maintenance and cleaning.
3. Experience of managing Health & Safety.
4. Experience of working within a School is desirable.
5. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
6. Full clean driving licence with access to own transport.
7. Experience in leading a small workforce is desirable.
8. Able to multi-ask in a very busy school environment.

13. Living a maximum of 30 minutes from the school.
The post will involve –
14. Management of Site Supervisor, Cleaning staff and Casual General Assistant.
15. Manage all Health and Safety aspects including all Risk Assessments.
16. Being the primary key holder for the site and ensure site security of premises (including occasional out of hours).
17. Routine repairs and maintenance tasks and porterage duties.
18. Liaison with Contractors for all site projects including ordering materials and supplies.
19. Keeping the School spotlessly clean and tidy, well-lit and heated.
20. Undertake cleaning duties due to short term absence.
21. Respond to incidents at short notice.
22. Be on the alarm call out list and respond to out of hours call outs if necessary

Due to current Government Guidelines site visits may be organised virtually by prior arrangement.
