The successful candidate will carry out In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) in accordance with the current edition of the IET Code of Practice.
Produce results that meet the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies.
Manage appliance testing in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.
Liaise with customers to ensure work is carried out efficiently, meeting customer requirements while minimizing disruption. Sites include Schools, Hospitals, Hotels, and Universities.
The engineer must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and access to emails. Weekly tasks include downloading results and sending them to the PAT team at Head Office.
Job schedules are arranged by the PAT Team at Head Office, but the engineer must manage their own time effectively.
Maintain good timekeeping, adhere to start and finish times as directed by the PAT Manager, and plan routes to prevent delays.

Salary: £28,000 per annum. Full training and progression opportunities are provided. The role is permanent, requiring a full UK manual driving license and a full enhanced DBS check.
Work hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, with some weekend, out-of-hours work, and occasional away-from-home duties. Benefits include pension, bonus scheme, annual leave, and career progression.
