The Role
As a Vehicle Paint Technician, you’ll play a key part in returning vehicles to their pre-accident condition with flawless, manufacturer-standard finishes. From preparation to final coat, your work will reflect the highest standards of the industry.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare vehicles for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking)
*
Accurately mix and colour-match paints using advanced systems
*
Apply coatings using spray guns and maintain spray booths
*
Carry out final quality checks to ensure paintwork meets top standards
*
Collaborate with the workshop team to meet repair deadlines
*
Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-compliant workspace
What You’ll Bring
*
Proven experience as a Paint Technician or Prepper in an automotive bodyshop
*
Expertise in modern paint systems, materials, and application techniques
*
Confident in colour matching and blending
*
A keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
*
Strong teamwork and communication skills
*
ATA/SVQ Level 3 qualification (preferred – training support available)
