You will run a payroll function across multiple payrolls which directly pays over 2,000 staff in the UK and over 200 Zero Hour contracts are paid accurately and on time. You’ll do this by running a very efficient and robust internal process and working in harmony with Human Resources, all the while ensuring total compliance and GDPR.
Responsibilities:
* You and the team will directly own and run a number of payrolls across the Group.
* You will be fully responsible for ensuring all Group payrolls are carried out accurately and in line with Group controls and guidelines.
* You will own and develop a number of very high-profile relationships
* Take responsibility for ensuring all payroll activity is accounted for correctly and that all payroll process are regularly documented.
* Ensure all deliverables are prepared and validated in time for Group audits.
Previous experience required:
* Experience of managing multiple in-house payroll functions of a similar size and scale, Uk and international.
* Significant experience in UK payroll processing leading to an excellent and up to date understanding of UK payroll legislation.
* Ability to multitask and work to strict deadlines under pressure with a natural ability to prioritise.
