We are representing a high-growth Funds Tax Advisory team in London that is recruiting for a Senior Manager/ Associate Director.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team advising some of the most interesting alternative funds in the market, including private equity, hedge funds, credit funds, venture capital, real estate funds and asset managers.
The team advises across the full fund lifecycle, covering complex UK and international tax advisory work, as well as tax reporting and compliance obligations. You’ll work with a high-profile client base, lead technically complex projects, build senior client relationships, and play a key role in developing junior talent and supporting the team's continued growth.

The role:
This team advises fund managers across all aspects of their business, including the fund structures, the management company, senior executives, investors and portfolio investments.
It’s a broad role with a strong advisory focus, alongside oversight of complex compliance and reporting matters. You’ll lead client relationships, manage multiple workstreams and work closely with colleagues across the wider firm to deliver joined-up solutions.
Given the international nature of the funds market, you will have strong exposure to cross-border matters and global client teams.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading UK and international tax advice for fund managers and related structures
* Advising on fund formation, structuring, restructuring, transactions, international expansion, operational tax matters and lifecycle events
* Reviewing complex work across the wider team and delivery teams
* Overseeing partnership and corporation tax compliance and reporting obligations across complex fund and management structures
* Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, founders and leadership teams
* Supporting business development and broader growth initiatives
* Leading client meetings, managing budgets, timelines and commercial discussions
* Coaching and developing junior team members
* Working closely with Partners, Directors and wider advisory teams
