Location: Slough
Salary: Between £30,000 to £35,000 per year
45 hours/week permanent contract, Monday to Friday. 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Description:
* Undertake the inspection of damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of the damage, costs of repair and timeframes
* Communicate with clients to provide repair information and an indication of completion time
* Compile all relevant information and complete supporting documentation
* Identify the correct prescribed repair method, prepare, and maintain records of electronic and manual estimates.
* Monitor progress of the vehicle through the repair process and identify opportunities for additional repair work
* Liaise with client-side teams and work providers to obtain their authority to repair the vehicle at the costs estimated.
* Liaise with customers and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology.
* Compile proper documentation of completed repair work for the purpose of tracking and invoicing.
* Identify and order vehicle parts.
* Work with and build relationships with both suppliers and work providers.
* Build great working relationships with technicians to offer technical support.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within a busy body shop is preferred
* You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques
* Be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours
* Ideally you are an advanced user of Audatex and have an understanding of insurance repairs
* You have a recognised apprenticeship as a VDA or have gained a technical qualification (such as an NVQ, VCQ, SVQ, or ATA)
