We are looking for a care navigator/receptionist with experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate would be a proactive individualwho can use their initiative. They will have excellent interpersonal skills andenjoy working with patients. We need a team player and someone who can beflexible in times of sickness and holidays.
The successful applicant must be IT literate and bewilling to undertake relevant training in order to improve their skills.
Duties will include assisting and directing patientsin accessing the appropriate service, receiving and processing telephonerequests for appointments, visits and prescriptions and administrative duties relating to the role.

* Processingpersonal and telephone requests for appointments, visits and telephoneconsultations, and ensuring callers are directed to the appropriatehealthcare professional
* Processingand distributing incoming (and outgoing) mail
* Takingmessages and passing on information
* Filingand retrieving paperwork
* Initiatingcontact with and responding to requests from patients, other team memberand associated healthcare agencies and providers
* Ensure an effectiveand efficient reception service is provided to patients and any othervisitors to the practice
