SEN Teachers & Learning Support Assistants Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire Pay: Learning Support Assistants: £13.75 per hour Teachers: MPS/UPS (£32,916 – £51,048) Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Multiple roles available – permanent, temporary and supply placements About the Roles Teaching Personnel are working with SEND schools and specialist provisions across Basingstoke and the surrounding Hampshire area. Role Responsibilities Teachers: Deliver engaging, SEND-focused lessons tailored to individual pupil needs Assess, track, and report on pupil progress Work closely with LSAs, SENCOs, and the wider school team Learning Support Assistants (LSAs): Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing behaviour Support children with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs Who We’re Looking For Qualified Teachers (QTS or equivalent) Experienced LSAs or Teaching Assistants Individuals passionate about working within SEND settings Candidates who hold an enhanced child-only DBS (or are willing to obtain one) Why Work With Teaching Personnel?
