Finance Administrator, Tockwith | £24,500 -£27,500| Full-time (35 hours per week)
An established business based in Tockwith is looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join its friendly and experienced finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance, as full training will be provided. The role focuses on purchase ledger processing and providing day-to-day financial administration support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Processing and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
2. Scanning and matching delivery notes to invoices
3. Checking, processing, and batch-posting invoices
4. Handling invoice queries via email and liaising with suppliers
5. Barcoding invoices and uploading documents to Sage
6. Assisting with cash management and bank reconciliations
7. Updating cashbooks and recording payments in Sage
8. Supporting freelancer and supplier payment runs
9. Updating cashflow forecasts (including weekly freelancer cashflows)
10. Assisting with period-end procedures
11. Completing supplier statement reconciliations
Skills & Experience
12. Previous finance administration experience beneficial but not essential
13. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
14. Positive, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work under pressure
15. Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
Salary & Benefits
16. £27,500 per annum
17. 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
18. 9:00am - 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break
