Role: Temporary Communications and Engagement Coordinator - Bradford

Salary: £30K (pro rata and paid hourly)

Contract length: Now until September

Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday

Position Overview:

Elevation Recruitment is recruiting for a national utilities business to communicate and engage with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders, building trusting relationships to support the company's relevance and success.

Responsibilities:

1. Engage digitally with customers for the capital programme, prioritizing customer focus.
2. Champion the customer in all capital projects.
3. Create engaging content and communication plans to support the comms and engagement team.
4. Manage paid social media campaigns to increase awareness of local capital schemes.
5. Create content supporting customer experience initiatives and projects.
6. Contribute to the wider comms and engagement strategy for the capital programme.
7. Produce engaging video content to visually communicate the importance of investments.
8. Assist with research and collaboration with agencies.
9. Create content for various channels to tell the story of asset investments.
10. Support audience insight and measurement activities.
11. Utilize social media listening tools for customer engagement.
12. Stay updated with industry trends to identify content opportunities.
13. Identify and escalate potential issues, working with the wider team to mitigate them.
14. Collaborate with the website team to develop web content about capital schemes.
15. Create internal newsletters to inform colleagues about ongoing projects.
16. Support projects across the Brand team with content development and technical knowledge.
17. Assist with broader content and copywriting initiatives as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Experience in a communication role.
2. Videography and content creation skills.
3. Experience presenting to groups of various sizes.
4. Strong relationship-building abilities.
5. Experience working in similar roles within-house or through agencies.
6. Excellent customer service skills.
7. Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office and design software.
