Operations Manager
to oversee their busy distribution centre in Waltham Cross on a Mid Shift - 3pm to 12am.
The role:
You'll take the reins on one of 2 shifts late shift :00) OR (night shift operation, leading your team to deliver smooth, efficient, and high-performing warehouse and distribution processes. Working across any 5 nights from 7, you'll be a key part of ensuring store deliveries go out on time and service levels are consistently met.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage and motivate a large team of operatives, supervisors, and shift leads
* Oversee goods-in, picking, packing, and dispatch functions
* Drive performance, quality, and compliance across the shift
* Work closely with senior site leadership to meet KPIs and service targets
* Ensure a safe, well-organised working environment and support continuous improvement
About you:
* Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced retail, eCommerce, or logistics DC
* Strong understanding of warehouse processes and shift operations
* Natural leader with excellent people management and communication skills
* Comfortable making decisions in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
* Flexible, solutions-focused and hands-on approach
