If so, we'd love you to join us as an Invoice Processing Administrator within our high‑performing P2P team at Tarmac.Why this role mattersAs an Invoice Processing Administrator, you'll report into the Accounts Payable Lead and play a crucial part in ensuring that supplier invoices are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with our internal controls. You'll be at the heart of maintaining strong vendor relationships, supporting internal teams and helping safeguard the business against financial riskNo two days are the same—whether you're resolving invoice discrepancies, spotting potential fraud risks, or collaborating with colleagues across Finance, Procurement and Operations to keep everything running smoothly.What you'll be doingInvoice ProcessingReviewing and processing invoices that fail automated matchingInvestigating discrepancies, including price, quantity and PO mismatchesChecking CIS‑eligible invoices for accurate tax treatmentProcessing non‑PO invoices in line with internal approval workflowsAssigning invoice queries and maintaining accurate audit trailsVendor & Mailbox ManagementManaging the shared invoice mailbox with timely, professional responsesGuiding vendors on corrections for non‑compliant invoicesBuilding positive external relationships through clear, consistent communicationFraud Prevention & ComplianceActing as the first line of defence against payment fraudEnsuring compliance with fraud prevention proceduresSupporting audits and maintaining adherence to financial controls and P2P standardsStakeholder CollaborationWorking closely with P2P, Procurement, Operations and Finance teamsReconciling supplier statements and identifying improvements in processesParticipating in optimisation and testing initiativesWhat you'll bringPersonal qualitiesMeticulous attention to detailEthical, trustworthy and calm under pressureCollaborative with a strong customer‑service mindsetSkills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of P2P processesExperience with invoice matching and exception handlingKnowledge of financial controls and CIS rulesConfident communicator (written and verbal)Familiarity with ERP/invoice systems; SAP is a bonusExcellent time management and prioritisation skillsExperience & EducationExperience in invoice processing or similar finance rolesSkilled in Excel and comfortable working with SAPProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesWho you'll be working withYou'll be part of a supportive P2P function that includes Accounts Payable Administrators, Purchase Order Administration, Business Partners, SOX & Technical, and more.
