We are looking to recruit a Lead Operative to join our Highways and Environmental Services team on a permanent basis, based at our Penrhos Depot in Llandysul.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
* Lead a team working in various tasks, such as tarmacking, slab laying, etc.
* May be required to drive vehicles requiring specialist driving skills.
We are looking to recruit an individual who:
* Has a full valid UK driving license.
* Has knowledge of highway maintenance activities.
* Is aware of safe working practices.
The role requires a degree of fluency in the Welsh language. Please note that a successful applicant without the required Welsh language skills will be fully supported to reach the standard within two years of appointment.
