We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) Team Leader to join our well-established team of mental health practitioners supporting the Cambridgeshire Constabulary from the police control room.
This service provides an effective first point of contact intervention by the Constabulary and Mental Health Services, ensuring appropriate pathways are taken for individuals in mental health crisis.
IMHT staff support the police by liaising with mental health teams regarding police matters, assisting with missing persons, domestic abuse cases, and advising officers on the Mental Health Act.
Working hours: Shifts from 10:00 to 22:00 on weekdays and 13:00 to 21:00 on weekends.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong teamwork ethic, accountability, and the ability to work under pressure.

Your role will be to coordinate the Mental Health Service to support the constabulary's priorities of reducing harm and ensuring safety. You will work on the frontline of policing within the police control room.
Provide inspirational operational management and leadership, ensuring effective implementation and ongoing delivery of trust pathways and protocols.
Lead recruitment, supervise staff, establish and monitor policies, and liaise with stakeholders including commissioners.
Your key responsibility will be to guide police dispatchers and decision-makers, enabling a person-centred approach to crisis response.
