Responsibilities and Duties
* Managing all aspects of personal tax work (primarily compliance, with some advisory), and day‑to‑day management of an established personal tax team across two sites.
* Managing a small personal tax portfolio of clients with complex affairs, building and maintaining exceptional client relationships.
* Applying in‑depth knowledge of personal tax (sole traders, partnerships, trusts and estates, capital gains, residence and domicile issues) in discussions with clients and junior team members.
Qualifications and Skills (Requirements)
* CTA/ATT qualified with a minimum of three years practical experience in a senior personal tax role (or equivalent).
* Client driven with good commercial awareness.
* Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
* A team player.
* Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in problem solving and analytical thinking.
Desirable
* Experience with Iris Personal Tax software.
* Previous experience managing a team.
