How you’ll power our business as an Operational Trainer- Driver Training & Compliance
This is more than a training role – this is a national leadership position in driver standards and compliance.
* Act as the national authority on professional driving standards at Flogas
* Serve as the strategic lead for coaching capability across the organisation
* Be the final decision-maker on escalated DriveCam and training matters
* Lead the development of a consistent, professional, and compliant driver training programme nationwide
* Provide expert coaching and support to Driver Trainer Assessors (DTAs), managers, and drivers
* Drive improvements in safe and compliant driving practices across the business
* Design and deliver structured, high-impact training programmes
* Apply recognised frameworks to ensure learning is clear and measurable
* Align all training outcomes with operational priorities and business goals
* Ideal for someone passionate about driver safety, compliance, and professional development

What we’ll need from you
* Strong experience in driver training, coaching, or compliance roles
* Proven adjudication and decision-making skills in safety-critical environments
* Class 1 license
* ADR
* Willingness to travel across the UK regularly to support sites
* Instructional qualification preferred
* Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing abilities
* Reliable and flexible approach to working hours
* A Criminal (DBS) Check will apply to this post
