Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside an FE College located in Cambridge who are actively seeking a Maths Lecturer to join their growing team from September 2024. If you are currently working in Education and fancy a change, or looking for a change in career and want to give teaching a go, this may be the role for you. The college holds 2 campuses, one in central Cambridge (where this job is located), the other in Huntingdon.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high quality teaching and learning, both face-to-face and online, to a timetable that may include evening and non- term times.
* Undertake tutorial responsibilities i.e, Track and review student progress and maintain student records using Markbook and Promonitor.
* Assist in the recruitment and admission of new students.
* Participate in team meetings and course team reviews and evaluation
Requirements:
* A recognised UK Teaching Qualification is essential (PGCE, Cert Ed, PTLLS or equivalent).
* Prior experience teaching Mathematics within a Secondary School or FE environment
* Have prior experience working with 14+ students
* Have relevant knowledge of GCSE & A Level Mathematics
