Assistant Project Manager

£30-40k plus pension / bonus

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager / Repairs Coordinator who is adept in helping oversee property repairs / insurance claim reinstatement works with project values up to about £15k.

This role will suit an Assistant Contracts Manager / Assistant Project Manager or a Claims Coordinator / Desktop Surveyor with a background in dealing with insurance claim reinstatement works (fire, flood and escape of water damage).

This is an office-based role; you would be joining a solid, successful and expanding team working with some key insurance industry clients covering work projects in the local area. Ensuring projects are run to time/budget and within set KPI’s/SLA’s and that all systems are kept updated with job progress throughout.

This Assistant Project Manager / Assistant Contracts Manager will need:

* Experience in reviewing and uploading scopes of works for residential property repairs/reinstatements

* An understanding of the insurance claims industry (property claims)

* A good knowledge of repair works; trades/labour, materials and project timescales

* Confidence in dealing with trades and sub-contractors

* Excellent communication skills and customer care skills - experience dealing with policyholders throughout the claims process

* Good IT skills (ideally having used Symbility/CoreLogic, Synergy, Xactimate or similar)

* £30,000 - £40,000 salary (negotiable depending on experience)
